LCS Training and Development Programs Recognized with 2026 Training MVP Award

Jan 10 2026

LCS has been named a 2026 Training MVP Award winner by Training magazine, the leading business publication for Learning & Development (L&D) professionals. LCS is one of only 91 organizations worldwide—and the only senior living company—to receive this prestigious honor recognizing excellence in employee training, leadership development, and human capital strategy.

The annual Training MVP Award highlights organizations that set the bar for talent development through innovative programming, measurable impact, and a sustained commitment to employee growth.

“Investing in our people is central to our mission and culture,” said Annette Jorden, LCS Senior Director of Talent Development. “We are always evolving our programs to meet the needs of our employees and leaders—this recognition reflects our commitment to creating learning experiences that inspire growth, strengthen capability, and support every employee in building a meaningful career at LCS.”

Award-Winning LCS Training Programs
The Training MVP Award recognized the LCS L&D programs that demonstrate depth, innovation, and measurable results, including:

  • A suite of leadership development programs tailored to aspiring, high-potential, and established leaders.
  • Dedicated community employee training through professional development programs, department-specific conferences, and on-site leadership and sales training.
  • Expanded open-enrollment learning opportunities across virtual and in-person formats, increasing enterprise-wide accessibility and participation.
  • Focused leadership programs that leverage competency-aligned development pathways for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.

“Being recognized as a Training MVP is not only an honor—it reinforces our commitment to being an employer of choice,” said Monica Friedman, LCS EVP/Chief Human Resources Officer. “When employees know they can grow, develop, and advance within our organization, they stay. Our learning programs create clear pathways for career progression, strengthen engagement, and help us build a workplace where people feel valued and supported.”
